Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: April 4, 2026

Our affiliate relationships

AI Career Shield participates in affiliate programs. This means that when you click certain course links on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).

Programs we participate in

  • Coursera — via the Impact Network affiliate program. We may earn 15–45% commission on eligible Coursera course and certificate purchases made within the cookie window.
  • Udemy — via the Impact Network affiliate program. We may earn approximately 10–15% commission on eligible Udemy course purchases.
  • LinkedIn Learning — via the Impact Network affiliate program. We may earn commissions on eligible LinkedIn Learning subscriptions.

How this affects our recommendations

Affiliate relationships do not influence which courses we recommend. Our course recommendations are based on:

  • Relevance to the skill gap identified in your assessment
  • Course quality, ratings, and review counts
  • Instructor credibility and content depth
  • Your seniority level and time investment

We always include at least one free option per skill gap — regardless of whether it generates affiliate revenue — because recommending free resources when they're the best fit builds the trust that this product depends on.

No extra cost to you

Clicking an affiliate link does not increase the price you pay. Commissions come from the platform's marketing budget, not from a markup on the course price. In many cases, affiliate links give you access to the same promotional discounts available to anyone.

Identifying affiliate links

All course recommendation links in the skill recommendations section of our job assessment pages may be affiliate links. We do not separately label each link, but this page serves as a clear, upfront disclosure for all such links across the site.
